Team Bubba Connecticut River.
It was a day full of changes on the
Connecticut river. The day started out almost perfect but as it went on the
weather went thru constant changes yet there were plenty of big bags brought in.
Mike Hall and Kyle Hall brought in a whopping 25.12 pound bag for the win along
with a 3.85 lb smallie.
There were 2 more twenty plus pound bags and nobody came in without fish. Team
Gerbert brought in a nice 4.99 pound largemouth (pictured above) to get lunker
large by a mere .04 pounds. All in all a great day of fishing for all teams.
BUBBA DRAW NIGHT TOURNAMENT ON LAKE WINNIPESAUKEE
The only word that describes the conditions leading up to Bubba Bassin’s annual
night tournament was HOT. A heat wave had rocked the New England area with temps
exceeding 95 degrees leading up to the event. Even though it was a night
tournament, many anglers were discussing their strategies on how to keep the
fish cool and avoiding the smallmouth bite until the morning if possible. Bags
of ice were key as all of the anglers did their best to help preserve and keep
fish alive. We had a solid turnout for this event. [Read

Non-boater Steve Roy takes first at Shirley
Resevoir. Coming in First place with 9.60lbs was one of
our non-boaters Steve Roy! Yes that‘s right, this non boater was able to put it
together for his first win of the year. Steve weighed in a nice 3.76 largemouth
that he got between two docks. He also reported that he caught many keepers
(over 10). All of his fish came off of a 4” senko. He worked hard for this win
and should be congratulated. Don’t tell Steve non-boaters are at a disadvantage
in the back of the boat. Nice job Steve. [Read

Ryan
Nutting, the reigning club champion wins 2011 season opener.
Well, it was our first tournament of the year! We had to switch from Big
Island Pond to Nashua River due to the late ice out. We had a total of 34
anglers show up to play. The water temps were around 49 degrees and the bite
was tough for most. A couple anglers did seem to do good enough to get in to
the money though.
Ryan Nutting, the reigning club champion, said he basically started in an area
he found in practice and had found some fish in. The water temp had dropped 5
degrees and there were a few other guys in the area. [Read

Article from the
Winnisquam Echo: It was a special Father's
Day for some men last Sunday, courtesy of the depths of Lake Winnisquam. The Lake
Winnisquam Team Bubba Trail event, sponsored by Arma Coatings of N.H., started
bright and early as approximately 66 anglers hit the water or the shoreline in
search of the four largest bass they could catch. The two-person teams cast
