Team
Bubba held a Winnisquam T where we had 17 teams and it was a hot day. Though
there were only eight teams to weigh in the bags were heavy. Topped by a 20 lb
bag from Chris Girard and Peter Burkhart. A day that was supposed to be in the
80s turned out to be 93 by the end of the tourney. We had a nice little audience
of future fisherman to watch the weigh in. Many fish were seen swimming in the
shallows but proved hard to coax into a free meal.

Team Bubba's Winnipesaukee night tourney had
some of the best weather for a night tourney seen. The fishing was tremendous
and some of us even got to watch fireworks while fishing. Though most teams
seemed to head towards lees mills there were a few that didn't. Big bag was
weighed in by Rob Frye and Chris Brannock and it was nice to see some old
members there to join us. I think that we found out Winnipesaukee is a good
place to fish at night.
This
week our Midweek starts out on Golden pond where old friends gather. We were
welcomed by a very brisk morning and a stunning sunrise. As the day goes on, our
resident pro, Peter Weeks, Peter (Skeet) Weeks schools us in the art of drop
shotting. A technique that brought him back to our winner’s circle. Peter took
first with 15.37 anchored with a huge toad at 5.89. [Read

Bob and Sue Hurst take Sweetheart on
Newfound Our first Sweetheart of 2009
and guess the theme of this event was the ladies take home the cash. As the
morning kicked off the smack was flying. Sweethearts gone bad. LOL We were
greeted to light winds and sun and did I say sun and tons of smallies just
waiting to chew. Sue and Bob Hurst made their first cast and landed what would
be the second lunker of the day anchoring their winning bag of 14.63. [Read

Small Frye wins big prizes with dad on Father's Day
Article from the
Winnisquam Echo: It was a special Father's
Day for some men last Sunday, courtesy of the depths of Lake Winnisquam. The Lake
Winnisquam Team Bubba Trail event, sponsored by Arma Coatings of N.H., started
bright and early as approximately 66 anglers hit the water or the shoreline in
search of the four largest bass they could catch. The two-person teams cast
their lines throughout the day, hauling what they hoped would be the biggest or
heaviest fish of the day. Large and small mouth bass were the target, and prizes
were offered for the largest in both categories and for the highest overall
weight of the four fish each team had caught by 3 p.m. [Read
