Thank you to our tournament sponsor – Arma Coatings. The first 6 places received gift certificates along with our First Loser. So in all 7 spots. Wonderful. Thank you again.

Another wonderful day on Winni. We had a great turnout again today, 69 players on the water. What a sight. Great job to all those playing today. Rob, we missed you today, but hope that you are having a great vacation.

Now on to our winners:
Coming in first place was the one and only Mr. Laferriere “jighore” throwing the smack down and brining to the scale 3 largemouths and 2 smallies for a winning weight of 16.59. It was overheard that he was going to run home and quickly wash out his live well due to the sissy fish he was unable to cull. Living up to his nickname Rod caught his beautiful fish using a jig and pig – winni craw as well as a hog jaw jig. Flipping boat docks and boat houses in shallow water. The smallies he caught on a little hustler chatter bait.

Second place went to none other than our very own Alan Denise who is no stranger to our winner’s circle. He caught his fish in very shallow water, 2 feet and less. His lunker was caught on a green pumpkin colored Senko. Also his frog chatter bait helped him to bring in his whopping 15.96. Just another nice pay day for the old man. His limit was caught by 9am and he culled 7 fish for the day.

Tom Lamb, our third place winner, brought 13.06 to the scales. Using a spider grub in 25 -32 feet of water he slaid the smallies. And then using his trusty 9.16 Stanley jig with a ¾ oz he talked his 4.12 largemouth into the boat from under the dock. Nice job Tom.

Coming in fourth place was Randy Smith using jerkbaits and Senkos. He caught his limit early to be able to cull for his total weight of 12.99. Good to see you again Randy. Fifth place was taken by Bill Stendor with a 12.96 bag. Bill caught his 2 largemouth and 3 smallies using Senkos on a Carolina rig. Nice job. Sixth place honors go to Steve Hosken who tells us he caught his 5 smallies that he brought to the scale on Silver Buddies. His silver buddies landed him a nice 12.95. Just kidding. Sorry we missed you.

Our coveted First Loser’s pool went to none other than Peter Weeks with is 12.88 lbs. Peter got his fish on green pumpkin drop shot worn in 25 feet of grassy water. This weeks Lunker Smallmouth went to Dennis Brophy @ 3.71lbs caught on green pumpkin tube in 13 feet of water. Nice fish Dennis.

Again we want to thank our sponsors for all of their support. Without them we wouldn’t be able to do the wonderful things that we do. Taking home this week’s bottle of Bass Boat Saver was Bean Lefevbre. Enjoying the paint ball gift certificate from Action Paintball will be Dick Klotz. Randy Smith was the lucky recipient of the Berkley Baits. Brian Lafrancois will be enjoying his gift certificate to Applebee’s courtesy of Park Ave and the winner of a free entry to any 2007 Midweek is Mark Peabody. In addition to all of the above give always, the top 7 winning spots (6 winners and our First Loser) received gift certificates from Arma Coatings. Thank you. Please remember to support our sponsors.

See you all again in two weeks on Sept 5th.

Enjoy your Labor Day weekend.
