Well, Day started off hot
and sticky. And it never changed. Red hot. Just like Marc Hamel, red hot.
Marc spanks the field with 16.59 with a kicker largemouth at 6.31. Really
nice bag. Congratulations to Marc, we will get that photo off to you. Marc
talks to catching his monster on a swim bait, fishing the weeds with scum
frogs,. Had his limit by 11 am. Damn the man was in the zone. Even his
non-boater had a nice bag. Spent most of his day on points with weeds.
Again Congratulations
Coming in second was Dave Morin. Dave had his limit by 11 and culled
another three times. Caught his fish on Senkos , swimmer baits. Dave’s big
largemouth was 3.20 which helped his cause along with an almost 3 pound
smallie (2.88). His total weight was 11.82.
Coming in third was Peter Muse. WOW! Peter did we have fun at the scale or
what. Peter had that lunker smallmouth right up to the end. Sorry buddy.
He had a nice bag of 3 largemouth and 2 smallmouth and a kicker smallie at
3.43 for a grand total of 11.41. Peter enjoyed his beautiful net girl’s
company all day. Fun Fun Fun. Peter had 4 fish in the first half hour and
then looked for that 5th fish for a long long time. He caught them on
Senkos and the big smallie came on a tube.
Our first loser and enjoying every second of being a loser, Gary Croteau.
He was also accompanied by a beautiful net girl. Gary used the old
faithful to catch all of his fish, black and blue jig.
Mike McNamara had Lunker smallmouth at 3.94. We had to much fun at the
scales Peter. His lunker was caught on a watermelon spider grub in 16 feet
of water.
Free entry, pulled after the fact, goes off to Steve O’Brien. Sorry,. You
will get the entry from Rob Frye. We didn’t have them with us. .
Thank you David, it really is a pleasure to see you do your thing. And
thank you for all of those that helped at the boat ramp with all those
gyrations. And thanks to Steve O’Brien for the photos.
Back again next week for the team. Joy!
